VERY old work (2010 - 2011)
On this project I was both Environment Artist and Vehicle Artist. Seeing the assets through from creation to their final in game state. The vehicles consisted of designing some on the fly as they were modelled, or building some from pre-approved designs. After the vehicle model was completed, work continued with modelling 'swap parts' which are used in the vehicle customisation feature. I also rigged the suspension (using HAVOK), created LODs, added shadow and collision boxes, set the vehicle up to work with the dirt \ damage system, and rigged the car so it worked in the in game livery editor.
I built vehicles for most vehicle classes, Big Rigs, Rally Cars, Super Cars and the Monster Truck classes.
My Supercar model ( Ozutsu Blacksun J-GT ) was the vehicle chosen to be used in all the PR artwork for the game, it appears on the cover art, and was used in the E3 unveiling and PSN demos.
